Dr. Julia Andras is an independent attorney and partner at LGP. As a litigator, she specializes in general civil law, labor law, medical malpractice law, family and estate law, as well as gambling law.
Julia Andras began her career at LGP while studying in Vienna and worked at the firm from 2002 to 2023. After spending two years in Tel Aviv, Israel, where she established and managed a branch of the Austrian-Israeli Chamber of Commerce (AICC), she returned to Vienna in 2009. This was followed by her admission to the Vienna Bar Association (2011) and her doctoral studies, which Julia Andras successfully completed in 2016.
From 2016 to 2023, she served as Head of Litigation; beginning in 2018, she also became a partner and managing director of the firm. As a partner, she was responsible, among other things, for personnel and HR matters. From 2023 to 2026, she headed the litigation practice at Starlinger Mayer Rechtsanwälte GmbH (known as Forzis Mazars Legal in Austria since March 2026), before returning to the firm in September 2026.
In addition to representing individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Julia Andras also represents large corporations and corporate groups. Her clients operate in the sectors of infrastructure, construction, (renewable) energy, the restaurant and hotel industries, and gaming law.
She also heads the firm’s Israel and Hungary desks and advises clients in German, English, and Hungarian.
