Dr. Julia Andras has been working again as an independent attorney and partner at LGP since September 2026. With her many years of experience in litigation, she strengthens the firm’s litigation practice.
Dr. Julia Andras is an independent attorney and partner at LGP. As a litigator, she specializes in general civil law, labor law, medical malpractice law, family and estate law, and gambling law.
Julia began her career at LGP while studying in Vienna and worked at our firm from 2002 to 2023. After a two-year stay in Tel Aviv, Israel, where she established and managed a branch of the Austrian-Israeli Chamber of Commerce (AICC), she returned to Vienna in 2009. She was admitted to the Vienna Bar Association in 2011 and went on to pursue doctoral studies, which she successfully completed in 2016.
From 2016 to 2023, she served as Head of Litigation; beginning in 2018, she also became a partner and managing director of our firm. As a partner, she was responsible, among other things, for personnel and HR. From 2023 to 2026, she headed the litigation practice at Starlinger Mayer Rechtsanwälte GmbH—known as Forvis Mazars Legal in Austria since March 2026—before returning to our firm in September 2026.
In addition to private individuals and SMEs, Julia represents large companies and corporate groups. Her clients are primarily active in the infrastructure, construction, renewable energy, restaurant and hospitality, and gaming sectors.
Her track record includes hundreds of domestic proceedings before Austrian courts and authorities, as well as proceedings before the European Court of Justice. Julia develops litigation strategies in collaboration with her clients, taking their individual needs into account. In complex proceedings, she vigorously advocates for her clients while always taking their economic interests into account and optimizing the respective strategy in their best interest.
She is distinguished by her ability to think analytically and solution-oriented, as well as to quickly grasp complex issues and explain them clearly. In addition, she possesses a high degree of social intelligence and empathy. This enables her to respond to her clients’ needs in the best possible way and guide them toward the desired success.
